Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our headquarters in Warroad, Minnesota. The role focuses on integrating continuous improvement and lean concepts on the production floor, working with Production Associates, Engineering Technicians, and leadership to drive improvements.

You will analyze current processes, develop future state plans, and support capital projects and equipment acquisitions. We offer relocation benefits and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical.
• 3-5 years Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to communicate well with others and ask insightful questions.
• Ability to use or learn AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Ability to participate on, and lead, cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principals, procedures, and technology.
• Ability and willingness to mentor others in the use of Engineering principals.
• Project Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams on CI and LEAN projects.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement on the production floor.
• Develop and maintain future state roadmaps for capital projects.
• Support projects and equipment acquisition.
• Demonstrate layout planning, work procedures, cost impacts, crewing guidelines, and takt time impact.

You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with Production Associates, Engineering Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers as well as leadership and other key stakeholders.

Highlights of your role

• Work closely with cross-functional teams.
