Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Two or more years of machine or mechanic experience as a primary job function.
• One year First Solar technical experience.
• Six months experience as Temporary Manufacturing Engineering Technician at First Solar.

Responsibilities

• Assists in installing and qualifying manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoots day-to-day manufacturing issues.
• Identifies and implements system improvements to meet throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
• Provide training to production associates.
• Develop and update internal documentation including drawings and procedures.
• Interface with internal associates and supplier representatives on projects.
• Respond to SPC alarms and keep processes in control.
• Execute planned process experiments and analyze results.
• Dispositions non-conforming product per criteria.
