TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I for Ruggedized Fiber Optics (RFO) products at our Fairview/Arden, NC site. You will develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and support during evening/night shifts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related engineering field, 0-3 years of experience, and knowledge of Lean manufacturing. You will collaborate across Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production to drive continuous

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related engineering field is strongly preferred.
0-3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience supporting production operations and resolving process issues during non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes for RFO product lines.
Provide real-time engineering support and resolve production issues.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost during evening hours.
Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production across shifts.
Support new RFO product introductions, tooling, and documentation.
Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and corrective actions.
