Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer (New Product Development) for an onsite role in Fairview, NC. You will launch new products, develop manufacturing tech, and drive continuous improvement with Product Development, Operations, Quality, and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, optical, or manufacturing engineering; 5+ years in manufacturing with fiber optic exposure; strong 3D CAD and MS Office skills; Lean Six Sigma

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, optical, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in fiber optic products.
• Experience introducing new products in a project team.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and MS Office; MES familiarity helpful.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Launch new products and develop manufacturing technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Operations, and Quality.
• Drive continuous improvement across operations and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain manufacturing instructions, routings, and specs.
