Job summary

TARGAN Inc in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to coordinate the transition of R&D designs into scalable commercial production. You will own production-release readiness, BOM optimization, and process development to deliver repeatable, quality manufacturing for our commercial products.

You will collaborate across R&D, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to ensure designs stay true to intent while meeting safety, efficiency, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, product commercialization, new-product introduction, or production transfer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the commercial-release handoff from an accepted R&D package through final production release.
• Review handoff packages for complete CAD, drawings, BOMs, and approvals.
• Manage conversion of R&D part numbers to commercial number series and verify item data.
• Reorganize and optimize BOMs for efficient production-floor execution.
