Qualifications

• Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment preferable.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CAD software and ERP/MRP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production issues.
• Assist in developing and improving manufacturing processes and work instructions.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Help design and implement tooling, fixtures, and production equipment improvements.
• Collaborate with quality teams to investigate defects and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Assist in capacity planning and line balancing activities.
• Maintain manufacturing documentation, including process flows and standard operating procedures.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
• Work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing-related issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
