Job summary

Navitas Systems LLC is seeking an engineer to identify bottlenecks in manufacturing, improve methods, and support the assembly of lithium battery products. The role emphasizes hands-on work with processes, documentation, and quality controls, while maintaining safety and efficiency across assembly lines.

The ideal candidate has an engineering/technical degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in manufacturing, and skills in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, data analysis, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in manufacturing (preferred).
• AutoCAD and SolidWorks experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to read/write English.
• Statistical analysis to support decision making.

Responsibilities

• Identify process issues and develop corrective actions.
• Identify efficiency opportunities, prove them, then implement changes.
• Support associates to develop resolutions or communicate proper assembly techniques.
• Develop and maintain work instructions.
• Learn / support development / and maintain FMEAs and control plans.
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures; update as necessary for design changes or efficiency improvements.
• Troubleshoot process related issues affecting safety and product quality.
• Maintain and interpret drawings and process notes for deviations to product and process documentation.
• Contribute to DFM feedback to engineering.
• Monitor & maintain equipment to meet company standards.
• Follow production work instructions and material handling procedures.
