Job summary

Moog Inc. in Blacksburg, Virginia is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to support the motors production line and outsourcing vendors. This onsite role offers a path to grow within Moog Space and Defense Group, reporting to Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Experience working in a team environment
• Experience communicating with internal and external customers and other disciplines

Responsibilities

• Support motor production line and outsource vendors
• Oversee process development with domestic and international teams
• Create drawings, tooling, work instructions, labor standards, layout, quotes
• Review RFQs for new orders
• Conduct design reviews and improve manufacturability
• Travel domestically and internationally
• Enforce ITAR and other policies
• Provide reports on schedules and expenditures
• Coordinate technical discussions with suppliers and Moog
• Cross-train across areas
• Complete other tasks as assigned
