Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL, seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for multiple product lines. You will collaborate with engineering to release new products, estimate costs, and establish tooling and time standards, while maintaining traceable records of operations.

Qualified candidates pursue or hold a Bachelor's in mechanical or related engineering field, with knowledge of Lean, CAD tools, Six Sigma and project tools;

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials science engineering, industrial engineering or related field (or recent graduate).

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
• Design, develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems
• Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes
• Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and advise on tooling and processes
• Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
