Job summary

SSP, a leading provider in fittings, valves and tubing systems, seeks an engineer to manage manufacturing routings and related ERP/MRP data. You will support engineering changes, tooling design and process improvements while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with ISO standards.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Quality to maintain routings, generate work instructions and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at SSP’s

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in engineering technology or SME CMfgE/CMfgT preferred.
Experience reading engineering drawings, specifications and bills of material.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP data, routing administration and documentation control.
Basic CAM programming or tooling/design knowledge preferred for secondary assignments.

Responsibilities

Create, revise and administer ERP/MRP manufacturing routings with operation sequences, work centers and setup requirements.
Review drawings and BOMs to assess routing impacts and implement updates.
Enter and audit routing master data; support setup time standards and costing analysis.
Coordinate routing changes with design, manufacturing engineering, quality and planning teams.
