Job summary

Hamilton Medical, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer 1 to improve existing operations and develop new processes, aiming to reduce costs and improve quality and yield.

The role requires collaboration across Sales, Production, Quality, and other teams, with hands-on technical support and project management responsibilities. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Manufacturing Engineering or related field, proficiency in ECO/doc control, CAD/PLC tools, and strong problem-solving skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or closely related field.
• Proficient in change management systems (ECO processes) and document control.
• Proficient in using data analysis programs and Microsoft Suite; VBA, C++, G‑CODE, JavaScript or similar programming preferred.
• Experience with CAD software; PLC programming and familiarity with industrial protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and develops manufacturing processes or process improvements by gathering KPI data and testing methods.
• Trains and guides manufacturing technicians in process improvements.
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by planning workflow, space, equipment layout, and assisting QA/Purchasing with vendors.
• Investigates root causes of nonconformances and implements corrective actions.
• Drafts production process instructions, qualification documents, and maintains BOMs/Routes in engineering systems.
• Designs testing methods to assure product and process quality and establish manufacturing standards.
• Performs risk analysis and mitigates critical risks.
• Drafts verifications/validations for production processes and equipment.
• Provides cost analyses and project planning for manufacturing initiatives.
• Provides hands-on technical support and project management for assigned lines.
• Other duties as assigned.
