Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing is required.
• Master's degree in Engineering/Manufacturing is preferred.
• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment with project leadership.
• Progressive experience in operations, process engineering and manufacturing with urgency to complete goals.
• 2+ years experience with Hot Compression mold design and/or molding plastics, fluoropolymers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement manufacturing projects to improve facility efficiency, reduce scrap, and/or improve product quality; include capital and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues in focused areas of productivity improvement.
• Coordinate with department supervisors to implement systematic changes.
• Lead facility improvement projects supporting building maintenance and 5-S efforts.
• Work with production supervision and operators to resolve shop floor problems.
• Create and update manufacturing engineering documents; train personnel on procedures.
