Job summary

Phoenix Tailings is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I for our Exeter, NH facility. You will work closely with production equipment and processes to improve throughput, reliability, quality, safety, and manufacturability.

This role offers hands-on experience turning engineering concepts into production results on the manufacturing floor. This early-career opportunity is ideal for engineers who relish solving problems with new technologies and want to help build the foundation of a new critical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial/chemical/materials engineering or related technical discipline.
0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, production engineering, or equipment engineering; internships/co-ops welcome.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, manufacturing, or process problems and develop practical solutions.
Experience with manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, fabrication processes, tooling, fixtures, or CAD.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear a respirator when needed.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes at Exeter facility.
Design and implement tooling, fixtures, equipment modifications to improve throughput, safety, and quality.
Troubleshoot production floor equipment issues; identify root causes and implement durable solutions.
Translate new process technologies into repeatable manufacturing procedures for higher volumes.
Support specification, installation, commissioning, and improvement of new manufacturing equipment as production expands.
