Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to develop innovative solutions, optimize manufacturing processes, and lead continuous improvement initiatives on-site in Plainville, CT. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot challenges and mentor early-career engineers while supporting high-quality, cost-efficient aerospace production.

The role emphasizes hands-on shop-floor engagement (50%+), Kaizen leadership, and adherence to Pursuit Aerospace’s quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Experience or familiarity with ITAR/EAR regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Develop and refine manufacturing process plans to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Design, document, and optimize CNC programs for high-quality production.
• Lead tooling design and procurement to maximize efficiency and control costs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead Kaizen workshops.
