Addison Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Forney, TX to support production equipment and processes in a high-volume facility. You will partner with maintenance, operations, quality, and automation teams to troubleshoot issues, improve uptime, and drive continuous improvement projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration across maintenance, operations, and engineering, with opportunities to lead root-cause analyses and implement improvements that enhance safety and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with automated equipment, robotics, and machine controls.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical resource for production equipment, processes, and performance.
  • Investigate downtime and quality issues using data-driven problem solving.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations to improve equipment reliability and throughput.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop, update, and maintain engineering docs, work instructions, and process specs.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and identify critical equipment.
