Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation in Addison, Texas, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to support the engineering and production teams in delivering cost-effective, high-quality manufacturing processes.

You will manage key projects, support new product introductions, and drive continuous improvements across tooling, processes and documentation, with a 90-day evaluation period.

Qualifications

• Education: BSEE/BSME/BSMechE or 10 years' experience in manufacturing engineering with electronics background.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and improvements.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, tolerances, and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage key projects in addition to supporting the manufacturing floor.
• Provide input and support to Product Engineering, the Manufacturing Process, and Design Upgrades for existing products, processes and equipment to improve quality, cost, and manufacturability.
• Develop and maintain accurate and detailed reports, routing, and methods to improve the manufacturing process.
• Interface and coordinate New Product Introduction and other key projects with Engineering, Sales, Purchasing, Production Control, etc.
• Determine root cause of problems in production which impact quality, reliability and safety and initiate proper corrective actions.
• Conduct special tests, and support test technicians, product assurance technicians, and inspection personnel to aid in their job functions.
• Support the evaluation of non-conforming material, in-house and from outside sources, and arrange for appropriate disposition and corrections.
