Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Tulsa to support machine assembly, process improvement, and new product production releases. This hands-on role will optimize manufacturing processes, resolve production issues, and partner with engineering, quality, and vendors to improve efficiency and quality.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Lean/Six Sigma, 5+ years in machinery manufacturing, and hands-on troubleshooting with CAD drawings and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in a machinery manufacturing environment.
• Strong machine assembly and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawings.
• Experience with 3D CAD; SolidWorks preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs and electromechanical systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or 3+ years practical Lean/Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, workflow, equipment layout, and production efficiency using Lean/Six Sigma.
• Validate BOMs, work instructions, assembly drawings, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Develop and update work instructions, fixtures, jigs, and test equipment.
• Support machine assembly, troubleshooting, engineering changes, and new machine production releases.
• Translate 3D models and detailed drawings into manufacturing processes, including identification of critical-to-quality requirements.
• Participate in DFMEA/DFA reviews and lead PFMEA activities for new products and significant design changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, production, and vendors on process improvements and equipment development.
• Use problem-solving methodologies such as 8D to identify root causes and resolve production issues.
