Job summary
Konecranes in Houston, TX is seeking a driven Manufacturing Engineer to support fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing, and commissioning of custom Engineered-to-Order overhead crane systems. You will improve manufacturing processes, optimize flow, develop work instructions, and drive efficiency across fabrication and assembly while collaborating with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in fabrication, heavy machinery, or engineered products.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for fabrication, welding, assembly, and testing.
- Create work instructions, routing sheets, and standard work documentation.
- Lead continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Provide daily production support and troubleshoot issues affecting quality or schedule.
- Support safety, quality, and compliance across operations.
