Job summary

Toyota Auto Body California (TABC) in Long Beach, CA, seeks an Engineering Analyst to maintain press equipment, improve MTTR and MTBF, and support production engineering objectives. You will plan inspections, manage repairs, and coordinate with TMNA-PE, suppliers, and OEMs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, PLC knowledge, and willingness to work overtime during shutdowns. Relocation support may be available and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher required.
• 5+ years of equivalent professional experience in engineering or maintenance preferred.
• Experience with PLCs and controls; reading/interpreting PLC code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual equipment inspection plans (PMs, repairs, upgrades).
• Coordinate major machine repairs with TMNA-PE, Stamping PE, vendors and OEMs.
• Track KPIs and develop plans to improve equipment performance.
• Support training and skill development through equipment repairs.
• Coordinate weekend work plans using Toyota systems like Maximo PM and parts tracking.
