Job summary

toyotaboshokuamerica supports the manufacturing areas with a plant-focused approach to minimizing downtime, increasing productivity, and maintaining the Toyota Production System in line with company policies and procedures.

The role covers maintenance on all production equipment, general building upkeep, and oversight of machines in Sewing, Assembly, and Injection Molding areas to ensure smooth operation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance on all production equipment to provide a reliable production platform.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in collaboration with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
• Perform general building maintenance.
• Oversee machines in Sewing area, Assembly area and Injection Molding area.
• Machine uptime/downtime management.
• Support Kaizen and related activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

General Summary:

Essential Job Functions

1. Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
2. Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
3. Perform general building maintenance
4. Oversee machines in Sewing area, Assembly area and Injection Molding area.
5. Machine uptime/downtime management
6. Support Kaizen and other related activities
7. Other duties as assigned

III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or GED required
• Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.

Personal/Technical Skills

• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Flexibility in a changing environment
• Mandatory overtime flexibility

Language Skills

• English, both written and verbal

Computer/Software

• Basic Microsoft Office applications

Work Environment/Conditions

Plant: Automotive manufacturing plant

Travel: 0-10%

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear. The team member must be capable of walking, sitting, and standing and is occasionally required to lift up to 30 pounds.
