Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. seeks an early-career Manufacturing Engineer to support engineering aspects of day-to-day MOB operations, focusing on tire and wheel assembly across North American plants.

You will coordinate with equipment suppliers and local staff to drive on-time project completion from planning to final equipment validation. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in manufacturing engineering or related fields, a degree in Engineering, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of internship/co-op or professional experience is preferred but not required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to drive in the US.
• Travel 30–40% required.

Responsibilities

• Support and learn to lead engineering aspects of equipment projects, ensuring on-schedule completion with daily progress.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production equipment issues with cross-functional help.
• Contribute to Production preparation/Design Review by gathering documents and data and performing quality checks.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives to operations and equipment.
• Participate in discussions to learn operation, safety, and quality details.
• Assist with evaluating new technology for MOB operations.
• Handle team and plant maintenance tasks and MOB business activities.
