Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Sunnyvale is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (EPDII) to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes ensuring efficient production and high-quality outputs.

You will develop automated and manual systems, test new processes, and collaborate with Quality Control to meet standards while optimizing layouts and reducing waste. A Bachelor’s in engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Server Assembly Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing system assembly or mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems.
• Develop and test automated and manual systems.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria.
• Collaborate with Quality Control Teams to ensure products meet established standards.
• Design manufacturing fixtures and equipment, including installation, validation, and maintenance.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair services.
• Analyze and plan workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements.
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, and machine operations.
• Monitor production costs and assist in budget preparation while implementing measures to reduce waste and manage expenses.
• Train workers in new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth facility operations and continuous improvement.

Summary
