Job summary

Pi Square Technologies in the United States seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to generate shop orders, assembly instructions, and qualification units for an NPI hoist project. You will work from engineering documentation to guide assembly and testing.

Responsibilities include tooling design, MRB collaboration to rework issues, and ensuring safety and compliance. Proficiency with IFS and MS Office is required, plus eight years in a regulated industry such as aerospace or medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum eight years of work experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with shop floor management software (e.g., IFS, SAP, PRISM, ERP, MRP).

Responsibilities

• Generate shop orders (routers) to assemble and test an NPI hoist using engineering documentation as a guide.
• Generate visual assembly instructions or job aids to support assembly and test of the new hoist.
• Generate shop orders to process, convert or modify qualification units as they are prepared and processed during the testing phase.
• Work with the MRB to generate shop orders to rework, repair or modify qualification units in response to testing issues.
• Design or modify tooling and assembly aids, including mechanical tooling or electrical test equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during assembly, test and qualification, and document solutions.
• Ensure all processes meet safety regulations and certification standards.
• Use IFS and MS Office Tools; deliver Shop Orders, Assembly Instructions, Test Rejection Disposition.
