Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support NPI Pegasus hoist manufacturing and qualification. You will generate shop orders, create visual assembly instructions, and work with MRB for rework and modifications.

The role requires extensive experience with electromechanical assembly, circuit board design, and motor controls, along with DO-254, DO-160, and EMI/EMC testing familiarity. Collaboration across teams and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in a regulated industry (aerospace, medical, or oil & gas).
• Experience creating shop orders, work orders, and manufacturing routers.
• Experience with IFS, SAP, PRISM, ERP, MRP or similar systems.
• Experience with electromechanical assembly and testing.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuits and PCB design.
• Experience with AC/DC/brushless motor controls.
• Experience with design, analysis, testing and simulation of controls/motor systems for aerospace equipment.
• Familiarity with ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810.
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC testing and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Generate shop orders and routers to assemble and test NPI hoists using engineering docs.
• Create visual assembly instructions and job aids for assembly and testing.
• Generate and modify shop orders for qualification units during testing.
• Coordinate with MRB for rework, repair, and modification activities.
• Design or modify tooling, assembly aids, and electrical test equipment.
• Provide shop-floor support and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and document solutions.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet safety regulations and certification standards.
