Job summary

Critical Loop is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Torrance, CA to drive electrical systems manufacturing excellence across our product lines, leveraging automation to shorten time-to-market.

You will build and inspect electrical assemblies, develop and refine processes, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve production challenges in a dynamic environment. The role includes capital equipment upgrades and process optimization for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials or industrial).
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with build, assembly, or integration of low/high voltage assemblies.
• Knowledge of harness and electrical systems manufacturing techniques, processes, and test verification.
• Electrical component and/or tooling design and analysis using 3D CAD software.
• Experience with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA).
• Experience transitioning complex products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own build and inspection process for electrical assemblies and systems integration across product lines.
• Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes and work instructions to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve production challenges.
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability with product engineering in a evolving production setting.
• Resolve non-conformances and work with quality to implement corrective actions.
• Identify and implement capital equipment, machines, and layout upgrades to meet demand.
• Develop floor layouts, capacity models, and product flow analysis to ensure on-time delivery.
