Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) in Largo, FL. You will develop manufacturing documentation and provide production support to ensure program success, collaborating with design, process, and program teams across RTX facilities.

Qualifications include a university degree or equivalent with less than two years of relevant experience, and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, processes, and work instructions used at the CMC.
• Provide production support on and off the factory floor for programs from initial factory introduction to sustaining activities.
• Collaborate with design, process engineers, factory operations, and program management teams.
• Support the technical performance of multiple depot and production programs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing challenges to improve efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with military and industry standards and specifications.
