Job summary

Birdon America, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing/production engineer to plan, design, and improve products and processes in a hands-on role in a US facility. You will create 2D drawings, 3D models, and detailed prints aligned with our standards and ERP workflows.

The engineer will validate designs, manage part numbers, and support fabrication, machining, and assembly teams to optimize throughput. Experience with machining, welding, and fabrication, plus strong problem-solving and collaboration

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• 2+ years in manufacturing/production engineering.
• Experience with producing and supporting fabricated and machined components.

Responsibilities

• Independently plan and execute engineering work for design, drafting, and continuous improvement of products and processes.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing prints.
• Develop manufacturing-ready drawings per industry and internal standards.
• Validate designs using 3D tools for form, fit, function within manufacturing constraints.
• Assign and manage part numbers for components; maintain documentation in systems.
