Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing engineering, preferably in controlled industries.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• 3D modeling experience with SolidWorks preferred.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes including CNC machining, assembly, and composites/metallics fabrication.
• Knowledge of TOC principles and their application to manufacturing systems.
• Problem-solving skills and RCCA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify production requirements from various sources, including customers, regulatory bodies, industry standards, and internal company policies.
• Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback on customer designs.
• Develop production processes to meet safety, quality, cost, manufacturability, delivery, and customer value.
• Measure the efficiency of production processes and lead continuous improvement efforts around those processes.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and determine Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) for non-conformances within the production system.
