Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical skills (statistics, algebra, geometry).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks) and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to solve complex, novel problems with judgment.
• Willingness to travel domestically 10–20%.
• Nice to have: ERP familiarity (e.g., Syteline).

Responsibilities

• Bridge product design and production, ensuring designs can be manufactured efficiently and to spec.
• Develop and document manufacturing processes, process flows, and work instructions from prototype through production.
• Design cell layouts, fixtures, and tooling using lean principles.
• Conduct timing studies to identify bottlenecks and optimize line performance.
• Specify and source manufacturing equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve and prevent issues.
• Contribute to Lean 2P/3P events and Value Stream Analyses to reduce waste.
• Build preventative maintenance plans and champion a safe manufacturing environment.
• Support DFM efforts for clients as needed.
