We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong work ethic towards aerospace assembly, development, and production. The preferred candidate will showcase proven experience in UAS manufacturing and engineering, a comprehensive understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes, and the capacity to lead cross‑functional teams. What you get to do

You'll play a pivotal role in standing up and leading the commissioning and improvement of a new manufacturing line for UASs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Defining new processes and ensuring efficient integration of new products.
  • Coordinating assembly and integration processes, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Identifying assembly needs for new products and optimizing fixtures and tooling.
  • Generating production documentation.
  • Reducing variability in manufacturing with standard work methods.
  • Liaising with other engineers to improve production and costs.
  • Leading and supporting technicians and trainee engineers.
  • Implementing FMEAs and process improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
What you bring to the Team
  • Established track record in UAS manufacturing and engineering.
  • 4‑year degree in Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Electromechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to develop detailed work instructions and inspection criteria.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and a logical approach.
  • Experience in training others and leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics and proficiency with CAD software and MS Office.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with FMEA and lean continuous improvement tools.
