Job summary

Newbury Franklin Industrials is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Development to oversee the industrialization of new projects from RFQ to production validation. You will serve as the primary technical liaison among Moldtech, customers, suppliers, and tooling manufacturers.

The role ensures open communication and that projects meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating RFQs, design reviews, creating quotes, developing timelines, and leading

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in mold design, preferably in rubber molding.
Knowledge of rubber curing, flow, and shrinkage characteristics.

Responsibilities

Oversee RFQs, design reviews, and quotes with customers.
Define project requirements and communicate to Moldtech team.
Develop project timelines and milestone management.
Lead tooling and process design with internal and external partners.
Support PFMEAs, control plans, and PPAP submissions.
Document work instructions, process parameters, and quality requirements for hand-off.
Conduct trials for new materials and tooling; validate results.
Assist other engineering initiatives as directed.
