Job summary

Enpro Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our NxEdge Boise site to develop and validate processes that improve quality, throughput and cost.

You will perform DOEs, develop SPC, and design motion control programs for robotic manufacturing, while supporting daily production and documentation efforts. The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering discipline, 3+ years of related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of manufacturing, process, quality, or equipment engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate manufacturing processes to meet quality, throughput, and cost objectives.
• Perform DOEs to optimize processes.
• Develop and maintain SPC to monitor and control processes.
• Design and implement motion control programs for robotic processes.
• Monitor key process indicators and drive data-based improvements.
• Investigate nonconforming product and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain work instructions, specifications, and process records.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and supplier interactions.
• Support daily production activities and tooling improvements.
