Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive development and implementation of capital projects, coordinate with plant operations, and develop efficient manufacturing processes. The role encompasses multiple levels with increasing responsibilities, budget oversight, and process improvement initiatives.

The candidate will contribute to cost reduction, quality and safety enhancements, and may lead small teams while collaborating with equipment vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering with 5–10 years of experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.
• Knowledge of building and maintenance contracts and liability issues.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates maintenance and repair services for plant locations.
• Oversees capital expenditure programs including budgeting and project planning.
• Develops manufacturing processes and improves efficiency through analysis and workflow planning.
• Leads or mentors other engineers as needed.
