Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead and support capital projects, drive process improvements, and coordinate maintenance across multiple plant locations. The role encompasses levels I through V with increasing responsibility, including budgeting, analysis, and implementation of manufacturing processes.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering and 5–10 years of related experience, plus strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Education: a bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and repair services for plant locations.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures, requesting special services as needed.
• Conduct plant visits to assist with project planning, process improvement and to maintain company assets.
• Provide manufacturing engineering information to customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Lead capital expenditure programs and develop cost reduction, quality and safety improvement projects.
