Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production on the Pasadena, CA floor. You will develop robust manufacturing processes, write detailed work instructions, and design tooling to improve manufacturability and reduce costs.

You will work closely with design engineering and operators to ensure high-quality mechanical assemblies. The role emphasizes hands-on shop floor activity, CAD drawing creation in SolidWorks, and collaboration across product lines in a stable,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in cable assembly and harnessing.
• Proficiency in writing detailed manufacturing work instructions for mechanical assemblies.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for mechanical assemblies.
• SolidWorks CAD drawings for tooling and assemblies.
• Ability to collaborate with design engineering teams and production floor operators.
• Experience identifying cost reduction opportunities in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Work on cable assembly and harnessing product areas to support production.
• Create detailed manufacturing work instructions for assemblies.
• Develop process improvements and best practices for assembly.
