Job summary

Nippon Paint Automotive Americas Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to provide daily technical and process support within the Operations Department. You will troubleshoot processes/equipment to improve quality, test production procedures, and organize workflows for maximum efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Chemical Engineering or related field and 3+ years’ experience. Strong communication and multi-project organization are essential, with familiarity in Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field required.
  • 3+ years experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role preferred.
  • Must be organized to effectively work multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) preferred.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process/equipment troubleshooting to improve batch quality and cost reduction.
  • Test new and existing production procedures.
  • Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
  • Optimize facility layouts, production lines, etc.
  • Resolve production delays and issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
  • Upgrade systems and processes with new technology.
  • Coordinate efficiency initiatives and realize benefits.
