Job summary
Jostens, a longtime leader in student keepsakes, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer in Clarksville to drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement on the production floor. You will guide the evaluation, installation, maintenance, reliability and improvement of plant infrastructure and equipment, including automation projects, collaborating with multiple departments to achieve QCDS goals.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, with 3+ years in
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Excellent Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook skills.
- Experience with CAD tools AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar.
Responsibilities
- Support plant infrastructure, equipment & automation improvements to enhance safety, efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with Maintenance to assess needs for new equipment and modifications.
- Conduct PFMEA, SPC, and time & motion studies to optimize processes.
- Develop and monitor budgets; participate in capital and expense planning.
- Lead continuous improvement and cross-functional initiatives to improve quality, cost, delivery and safety.
- Assist with space planning and risk prevention activities.
