Torus is building a 545,000-square-foot Salt Lake City facility and seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Machining & Fabrication to advance our precision machining and fixture design for BESS and FESS products. You will develop fixtures, optimize CNC processes, implement metrology, and pursue automation opportunities to improve throughput and quality.
Based in Salt Lake City, this full-time role requires 2–5+ years in engineering with a manufacturing/industrial focus.
Qualificações
- Lean manufacturing experience and applying continuous improvement.
- Ability to design and fabricate fixtures and workholding.
- Experience optimizing CNC machining processes.
- Knowledge of metrology methods and GD&T basics.
Responsabilidades
- Design, build fixtures and workholding for machining and inspection.
- Develop and optimize CNC milling/turning processes for production parts.
- Source and implement machine tools, automation, and tooling.
- Establish inspection methods and GD&T, including CMM programming.
