Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production processes and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor. You will split time between office tasks and hands-on shop floor activities, focusing on PCN, testing, and process validation with operators.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a Bachelor’s in engineering preferred. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are available for eligible candidates; work is on-site in

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• 30% office & 70% shop floor. Supporting PCN, Testing and validating process improvements, working with operators on maintaining processes, preparing reports and process review documents.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Part of the ME group supporting production processes and process improvement initiatives

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Years of experience: 8-10
• Degree requirement: Bachelor’s in engineering field preferred but will consider comparable experience. (8-10 years if no BA)

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Professional verbal and written communication and analytical skills
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and technical reports.
• Manufacturing and machining environment experience
• CNC programing and process development
• Experience with hone, OD/ID grinding, and centerless grinding
• Experience developing and maintaining automated cells.

The pay range for this role is: 90,000 - 95,000 USD per year (Pontiac, IL )
