We are seeking a data-driven Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing organization that produces advanced materials and components serving industries such as aerospace, automotive, energy, medical, and industrial applications. This role offers exposure to diverse processes—heat treat, foundry, grinding, machining, and magnetics—making it an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on, lean manufacturing environment. This position is fully onsite at a newly renovated facility that serves as a hub for two business divisions, with a culture that’s collaborative, innovative, and far from overly corporate.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Own the full workflow from quoting and job setup through execution.
  • Manage BOMs, routers, and ERP system setup to ensure accurate production flow.
  • Develop detailed work instructions, routings, and process documentation.
  • Design tooling and fixtures to support production.
  • Support the launch of new products and smooth technology transfers into production.
  • Provide direct production floor support and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO9001, AS9100 exposure a plus).
  • Engage with customers to support technical needs, material selection, and product performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (foundry, machining, grinding, heat treat ideal).
  • Proven ability to use data to improve efficiency, reduce cost, or enhance ERP systems.
  • Strong quality background with knowledge of ISO9001 (AS9100 experience a plus).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar).
