Job summary

Times Microwave Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Production Department in resolving issues related to RF coaxial cable assemblies and processes. This role collaborates with Production and Operations to ensure efficient manufacturing meeting schedule and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include creating and improving documentation, identifying root causes of failures, driving process improvements, and designing tooling.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/aerospace engineering.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the manufacture of raw RF cable or cable assemblies preferred.
  • Experience with resistance soldering equipment preferred.
  • Experience using Lean Principles and tools.
  • Experience using Six Sigma or other problem-solving methodologies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred.
  • Experience reading and understanding drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and time/project management skills.
  • Mechanically inclined with familiarity of shop tools and machines.

Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer supports the Production Department by resolving issues related to components, equipment and processes used in the manufacture of RF coaxial cable assemblies. The Manufacturing Engineer will work in concert with Production and Operations to assure efficient manufacturing of products to meet customer scheduling and quality requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
