Job summary

LHH in Kentucky is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to partner with production and operations teams to improve processes and workflow efficiency. You will analyze production data, support launches, troubleshoot challenges, and drive continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration and standardized work documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or process engineering activities.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience interpreting technical documentation and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a production environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with initiative and ownership.
  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Preferred Experience
  • Experience within a high-mix manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to ERP, MRP, or other manufacturing business systems
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience supporting process optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Familiarity with manufacturing quality systems and structured problem-solving techniques
  • Background working directly with production teams in a hands-on capacity
