Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, and supporting the production line through the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, process improvement, and problem-solving within a high-tech manufacturing environment, particularly in RF and microwave frequency products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research emerging trends and best practices to enhance manufacturing processes and meet future challenges.
  2. Design, develop, and implement new processes and changes in product flow to optimize production. Collaborate with creative engineering teams to refine operational sequences, methods, and tooling.
  3. Act as the liaison between engineering professionals and manufacturing teams to bridge the gap between design and production. Work closely with equipment suppliers and operators to evaluate manufacturing processes.
  4. Analyze workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout to improve manufacturing efficiency. Conduct cost studies, make/buy decisions, and recommend equipment for improvements.
  5. Develop and maintain essential assembly guides, operational manuals, and technical illustrations using CAD and manufacturing software. Generate ECNs for process or product improvements.
  6. Support the implementation of new automation equipment, including programming, process qualifications, validations, and tooling design for continuous improvements.
  7. Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) to address production issues, ensuring effective resolution and process improvements.
  8. Collaborate in brainstorming sessions and cross-departmental meetings to boost productivity, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering (or a related discipline).
  2. 4–10 years of relevant job experience, preferably in electronics or RF/microwave frequency products, subassemblies, and modules.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and project management.
  4. Knowledge of advanced manufacturing methods in assembly, test, and fabrication.
  5. Experience with chip and wire processes is preferred.
  6. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wire lists, schematics, and process sheets.
  7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
