Job summary

BRP US Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer reporting to an Engineering Team Lead.

In this role you will support production in a mixed model assembly environment and help develop, implement and improve assembly processes to meet cost, quality and capacity goals. You will specify, procure, validate and install tools, fixtures and equipment; apply lean manufacturing and DMAIC methods to identify root causes and implement durable solutions; work with team leads and technicians,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Lean manufacturing principles understood; travel infrequent.
  • AutoCAD knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support production in a mixed model assembly environment.
  • Develop, implement, and improve assembly processes to meet cost, quality, and capacity requirements.

  • Support production in a mixed model assembly environment

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or other technical 4-year degree and 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Team player with excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • AutoCAD knowledge is required
  • Willingness to travel (infrequently)
  • Knowledge of General Logistics Management and Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Position requires current work authorization. Sponsorship now or in the future is not provided for this role.
  • Relocation support is not provided for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to relocate at their own expense.
PREFERRED:
  • Knowledge of General Logistics Management and Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
