We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for improving manufacturing processes, increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on, and experienced in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Analyze workflow, labor utilization, facility layout, and equipment placement to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Partner with engineering, production, and product development teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to determine equipment, tooling, materials, and component specifications.
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
- Estimate production times, labor requirements, and manufacturing costs to support planning and operational decisions.
- Work closely with production, quality, and management teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve operational performance.
- Utilize data analysis and statistical methods to identify trends, forecast production needs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality.
- Support production launches, process validation, and implementation of new manufacturing technologies when applicable.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.

- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Frequent walking throughout the production facility.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials as needed.
