  • Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes by owning a portion or all of the manufacturing value chain for high-complexity product(s). This includes Design for Manufacturability (DFM) work, tool design & selection, process creation & optimization, and quality planning.
  • Develop process flows, breaking down large, complex client assemblies into a logical part flow of subassemblies and sub-processes.
  • Write and manage essential manufacturing documentation required for successfully building client hardware at scale, such as work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements, etc.
  • Lead and coordinate projects to install new manufacturing systems, including machinery and automation, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and manufacturing changes.
  • Manage the vendor value-chain, including initial sourcing, solving ongoing production issues, implementing quality procedures, and collaborating with suppliers across various disciplines (PCBA fab, metallic manufacturing, assembly, etc.) to develop repeatable, sustained processes.
  • Collaborate with various cross-functional departments: Quality Assurance, Design Engineering, Technicians, and Program Managers to set quality standards, inspection processes, design for manufacturability, troubleshooting, and programmatic milestones.
  • Support continuous improvement by actively leading 5S activities and providing feedback on ways to improve the building process.

  • 3+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
  • Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource-constrained environment.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating large or high complexity assemblies/subassemblies.
  • Experience in configuration management and change control process (e.g., CCB, E&O, Effectivity dates), and a strong understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production) and change management (ECOs).
  • Extremely reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Holidays: Generous holiday calendar
