Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support production, costs, quality, safety, and environmental compliance within Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD), designing green energy solutions for the future.

What You Will Do:
  • Identify and implement enhancements to equipment and processes.
  • Monitor equipment reliability; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Analyze and implement engineering change notices.
  • Support planning, development, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes.
What You Will Have:
Manufacturing Equipment:

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and logistics equipment used in CNC manufacturing.

Level Working Knowledge:
  • Basic safety and maintenance of CNC equipment.
  • Setup and testing of new machines per manufacturer specifications.
  • Use diagnostic tools to resolve common problems.
  • Perform routine inspections and report safety violations.
Manufacturing Processes:

Understanding of CNC machining methods, technologies, and processes, with the ability to manage and monitor manufacturing activities.

Level Extensive Experience:
  • Advise on industry best practices and benchmarks.
  • Develop documentation for processes and activities.
  • Evaluate new processes and technologies for benefits and drawbacks.
Manufacturing Safety:
  • Identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Perform safety inspections and promote safety culture.
  • Report hazards and initiate corrective actions.
Standards, Procedures, and Policies:
  • Develop and monitor manufacturing standards and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $87,480 - $131,280. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more, subject to eligibility.
