Job summary

Dover Corporation's Microwave Products Group in Ventura, CA seeks a senior engineer to plan, lead, and manage complex projects from design input through production release and testing. You will review customer requirements, develop detailed designs, perform analyses, and create prototypes while guiding production with hands-on troubleshooting.

  • Bachelor's Degree – Mechanical or Electrical/RF Engineering.
  • 10+ years of technical project leadership, mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Proficient with SolidWorks.
  • Experience implementing GD&T into drawings.
  • Exceptional communication skills and effectively able to communicate technical information with customers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and demonstration of handling multiple projects.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electromechanical actuators or small mechanisms.
  • Experience with ISO or AS9100 Quality Management System.
  • Experience in the Space and Aerospace Industry.

Job description

Connecting and Protecting People, Microwave Products Group (MPG) is a leading global provider of mission-critical engineered electronic components and subsystems comprised of five business units in six manufacturing locations. Our expertise is the design and manufacture of communications-based specialty products – engineered components and subsystems – for demanding military, space, commercial aerospace/industrial, and telecom infrastructure applications where function and reliability are crucial.

This position will use technical knowledge and experience to plan, lead, and manage projects from design input requirements to production release and final testing. This includes but is not limited to reviewing customer technical requirements, creating detail designs, performing detailed analysis, creating prototypes, leading design reviews, writing test procedures, and supporting the product through production via hands on troubleshooting.

Pay Range: - Annually
