Job summary

Link Technical Talent is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer – Capital Projects in Pittston, PA to own a portfolio of 10–15 capital projects, from planning through implementation, with roughly $5m in annual spend.

You will split time between project management and hands-on production floor work (70/30) and receive specialist training in Project Engineering, SAP, SolidWorks, Lean methodologies, and Six Sigma, supporting global manufacturing operations.

Are you a Manufacturing, Mechanical, Design, or Project Engineer with capital project experience, looking to take ownership of major equipment and facility projects at a market-leading organization?

This is an excellent opportunity to develop into a specialist Project Engineering role, managing a varied portfolio of capital projects while receiving training in Project Engineering, SAP, SolidWorks, Lean methodologies, and Six Sigma.

In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of 10–15 capital projects simultaneously, managing approximately $5m in annual spend from planning through to implementation. Projects will range from $50k equipment and facility improvements completed within weeks to major $2m upgrades lasting up to a year, with a 70/30 split between project management and overseeing work on the production floor.

This role would suit an Engineer or Project Manager with experience supporting or managing tangible capital projects involving equipment, machinery, facilities, or infrastructure, looking to develop their Project Engineering skillset within a global manufacturing organization.
