Job summary

ALL KNOWN SERVICES in Pontiac, IL seeks a Manufacturing Engineer 5 for Fuel Injector Assembly on a contract basis. The role requires 5+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree, with noted shifts: 7 AM–4 PM or 3 PM–11 PM.

The engineer provides technical expertise across production, cost, quality and safety, developing work-class processes and risk mitigation in fuel systems, linking manufacturing and assembly development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience required, internships count.
• Ability to facilitate and host cross-functional meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Experience with APQP, PFMEA, Process Flow and Control Plan.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot assembly equipment as needed.
• Assist in process improvements for current assembly processes.
• Investigate and walk back issues from first test pass failures.
• Create and update all APQP elements.

Contract: W2 Only

Location: Pontiac, IL (1st Shift 7 AM-4 PM or 2nd Shift 3 PM-11 PM)

Experience: 5+ years

Provides technical expertise across production, cost, quality, and safety compliance for fuel injector assembly. Key role in developing work-class processes and risk mitigation for fuel systems — spans both manufacturing and assembly process development and their interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot assembly equipment as needed
• Assist in process improvements for current assembly processes
• Investigate and walk back issues from first test pass failures
• Create and update all APQP elements

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience (internships count) - Bachelor's degree
• Ability to facilitate and create all APQP elements — Process Flow, Control Plan, Process Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
• Experience Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams
• Ability to facilitate and host cross-functional meetings (in-person and virtual)
• Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects
• Willing to work either 1st shift (7 AM-4 PM) or 2nd shift (3 PM-11 PM)
